College Graduates

Congratulations to our College Graduates!

 

Hillary Birch Bell (right) graduated from Utah Valley State College with a degree in History. She is the daughter of Army Command Sgt. Major Peter Bell who lost his life in 1999 while assigned to the 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

Sean Carroll Jr. graduated from Lynchburg College with a degree in International Relations. He is the son of Army Staff Sgt. Sean Carroll who lost his life in 1996, while assigned to A Company, 9th Psychological Operations Battalion.

Amanda Corbin graduated from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington with a degree in English. She is the daughter of Army Staff Sgt. John Corbin, who lost his life in 1991 while assigned to Headquarters, U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

Jason Cummings graduated from American Military University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Cummings, who lost his life in 1990 while assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne).

Jade Marcum Cunningham graduated with a degree in nursing from Galen College of Nursing. She is the daughter of Navy Senior Chief (SEAL) John Marcum who lost his life in 2008 in Afghanistan while assigned to Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Dam Neck, VA.

Chelsea Healy (right) graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is the daughter of Navy Senior Chief (SEAL) Daniel Healy, who lost his life in 2005 while assigned to SEAL Vehicle Delivery Team ONE.

Lauren Mallory graduated from Orange County Community College with a degree in Psychology. She is the daughter of Army Major Robert Mallory, who lost his life in 1993 while assigned to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.

 Thomas Miller graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in International Politics. He is the son of Green Beret and Army Maj. Kenneth Miller, who lost his life in 2003 while assigned to U.S. Embassy duty in Bolivia.

Meagan Ochsner graduated from Meredith College with a degree in Sociology. She is the daughter of Army Sgt. 1st Class James Ochsner who lost his life in 2005 in Afghanistan, while assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), Ft. Bragg, NC.

Donnie Shocklee graduated from Southwest Truck Driving School with a certificate in truck driving. He is the son of Army Command Sgt. Major Donald Shocklee who lost his life in 1990 while assigned to Headquarters, 75th Ranger Regiment.

Raimen Tapper graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Tourism and Events. He is the son of Navy Petty Officer 1st Class and SEAL David Tapper, who lost his life in 2003 in Afghanistan while assigned to SEAL Team 6. (He took part in the rescue of POW Jessica Lynch)

Maddeline Voas (right) graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Anthropology. She is the daughter of Air Force Major Randell Voas who lost his life in 2010 in Afghanistan, while assigned to the 8th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field, FL.
